Embedded Systems Software Engineer

As an Embedded Systems Software Engineer at Magnarus, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing embedded software systems. You will play a vital role in crafting applications that meet industry needs and ensure superior performance and efficiency. This full-time on-site role based in Hyderabad requires a strong foundation in low-level programming and system applications, with proficiency in C, C++, and Python. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and debugging software for embedded systems using C and C++, implementing system-level applications and utilities, and writing testing scripts in Python for validation and diagnostics. You will be developing bare-metal applications where performance and timing are critical, collaborating with hardware engineers, and utilizing IDEs like Visual Studio Code and Eclipse for project development. Additionally, you will manage source code using version control systems such as Git and CVS, participate in peer reviews, documentation, and code optimization efforts, and troubleshoot system-level issues across hardware and software boundaries. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, hands-on experience with VS Code, Eclipse, and debugging tools, and a solid understanding of version control best practices. Experience with real-time operating systems, familiarity with CI/CD tools, and exposure to cross-compilation and toolchain configuration are considered good to have skills. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field with one to two years of relevant experience.
