Embedded System Architect:

• Embedded Systems Knowledge- Embedded

o Firmware/OTA update mechanisms
o Device provisioning and configuration o Hardware interface protocols (UART, GPIO) o Good Linux Proficiency o Shell scripting (Bash) o File system navigation and permissions o Systems services, logs (journalctl, dmesg) o Process and resource monitoring (top, ps, htop) o Creating test cases based on system functionality

• Networking Fundamentals- basic

o IP addressing, subnetting, routing
o SSH, SCP, Proxies o Knowledge of MQTT would be a plus

• Other good to have skillsets

o Docker or SW virtualization- Embedded
o Device farm or testbed orchestration o Git workflows (branching, tagging, PRs)- Basic

• Soft Skills & Leadership- Technical Specialist- Embedded

o System thinking: Designing for scale and maintainability
o Communication: Explaining architecture and test strategy o Mentorship: Supporting and guiding team members o Problem-solving: Debugging across layers (network, device, test)

• Core Technical Skills- V&V

o Robot Framework Expertise
o Python Programming o Writing reusable python libraries o Modular test suite design o API interaction (requests, JSON handling) o RESTful API testing o JSON/XML parsing and validation

• Networking Fundamentals- basic

o SSH, SCP, Proxies o Knowledge of MQTT would be a plus

• Infrastructure & DevOps Skills- V&V

o CI/CD Integration of test infrastructure
o Experience working with Azure DevOps o Triggering tests post-build from pipelines. o Artifact and report management
