The ideal candidate for this position should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in C++ Programming Language and embedded device development. The role involves designing and developing highly optimized embedded software/firmware using C and C++ languages on various platforms such as Windows, Android, and Linux. Additionally, the candidate should have a strong understanding of embedded hardware and driver concepts, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to work effectively in a team with minimal supervision is also essential. Responsibilities of the Systems Lead Engineer include working on prototype devices for perception technologies, developing low-level device drivers, managing HW/SW interfaces, and collaborating with different stakeholders to define device requirements. The role also involves bringing up new camera and IMU sensors, working on I2C/SPI interfaces, and having a basic understanding of electronics.
