Embedded Software Test Engineer

As an Embedded Software Test Engineer in the Automotive Infotainment domain, your role involves analyzing software requirements and design specifications to develop test plans and cases. You will be responsible for executing manual & automated tests for multiple domains and setting up/configuring test benches using tools like ECUs, HIL systems, Vector CANoe, CANape, and Wireshark. Identifying, logging, and tracking defects will be crucial, requiring close collaboration with development teams. Additionally, you will develop automation scripts in Python/CAPL to enhance testing frameworks and participate in integration and acceptance testing. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze software requirements and design specifications for test plan development - Execute manual & automated tests across various domains - Set up and configure test benches using tools like ECUs, HIL systems, Vector CANoe, CANape, Wireshark - Identify, log, and track defects; collaborate closely with development teams - Develop automation scripts in Python/CAPL for testing framework enhancement - Participate in integration and acceptance testing Qualifications Required: - Strong experience in Automotive Infotainment (Audio, Tuner, BT, WiFi, Ethernet AVB, Camera) - Proficiency in Python, C/C++, Java - Experience in Software Interface & System Interface testing (GTest or similar) - Exposure to Enterprise Architect tool, HDD/CDD/HSIS documentation - Practical knowledge of oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, simulators, and flash programmers The company is looking for a skilled Embedded Software Test Engineer with 4-6 years of experience in Automotive Infotainment domains such as Audio, Tuner, BT, WiFi, Ethernet AVB, Camera, and Android/Linux/QNX Systems.
