Embedded Software engineer - MES - Surface Launchers

Job Description: As a skilled Software Engineer, you will demonstrate expertise in various programming languages such as C and C++. Your solid understanding of Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) principles including Linux, VxWorks, and QNX will be crucial for this role. You will leverage your experience in developing software in a multi-threaded/multi-process environment to contribute effectively to the team. Proficiency in Linux, Jira, and Inter-process communication will be essential for successful collaboration within the team. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement tools to streamline software system development and debugging processes. - Play a key role in identifying and resolving issues encountered by customers to ensure their satisfaction with our products. - Create built-in diagnostics and test codes to enhance the reliability and supportability of software systems. - Develop distributed architecture systems with effective intercommunication. - Utilize expertise in communication protocols across various physical layer devices such as Serial, Ethernet, 1553, CAN, NMEA, and ModBus. - Participate in budgeting and procurement activities related to project resources. - Apply strong analytical, integration, and debugging skills effectively in the role. - Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and demonstrate excellent multitasking skills.
