Description
As an Embedded Developer - IOT, your role involves the following key responsibilities: - Embedded Firmware Architecture/Code Design Development and integration of software for embedded Linux/RTOS platforms, encompassing applications, device drivers, and kernel components. - Development and integration of GPRS, TCP/IP, and 4G stacks on telematics platforms for Communication Stack Development. - System Integration & Troubleshooting, including system-level integration, and debugging RF network issues such as timing synchronization, signal strength optimization, and collision resolution. - Close collaboration with the hardware design team for Linux subsystem development and optimization. - Maintenance of architecture, protocols, and technical specifications documentation for Technical Documentation. - Providing cross-functional support by assisting engineering, system testing, and customer support teams in resolving technical challenges. - Ensuring compliance with quality and information security standards, while following ISMS policies and procedures for Compliance & Security. Qualifications required for this role: - 3 to 7 years of experience in embedded programming. - Proficiency in C programming, GCC compiler, and Git. - Understanding of MISRA coding guidelines for automotive products. - Hands-on experience with Linux, ARM SoCs. - Experience using oscilloscopes, analyzers, and other lab equipment. - Strong knowledge of network protocols, programming, and Linux kernel/device driver development. - Ability to write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code. - Experience with issue tracking & project tracking systems (a plus). - Understanding of RF networks and concepts (a big plus). - Self-motivated, dynamic, and team-oriented individual with a problem-solving mindset.
