As a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer at Capgemini, you will play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge automotive and embedded systems projects. Your expertise in C/C++ programming languages and extensive experience in CAN protocols development, particularly in J1939 and OBD, will be instrumental in shaping the future of technology for leading organizations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain embedded software using C/C++ for automotive applications. - Design and implement communication protocols using CAN, with a focus on J1939 and OBD. - Utilize CAN tools such as CANalyzer, Kvaser, or CAN King for development and debugging. - Integrate and manage real-time operating systems (RTOS) for embedded applications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components. - Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. - Document software design, code, and test results. **Requirements:** - 8+ years of experience in embedded systems development. - Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages. - Strong knowledge of CAN protocols with at least 5 years of development experience in CAN/OBD/J1939. - Experience with CAN tools like CANalyzer, Kvaser, or CAN King. - Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS). - Experience with STMicro controllers is preferred but not mandatory. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and collaboration skills.
