Embedded Dev (GFX)- Engineer, Senior

As a Software Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and utility programs to create cutting-edge products that surpass customer expectations. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams will involve designing system-level software solutions and understanding performance requirements and interfaces. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software and applications. - Collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, and test engineers to design system-level software solutions. - Obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces. - Utilize programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - Work on embedded software and/or driver with 4-6 years of experience. - Demonstrate expertise in C/C++ programming and ARM assembly language. - Possess strong knowledge of embedded system architecture. - Experience in 2D and 3D graphics technology like OpenGL, OpenGL ES/EGL, Vulkan. - Familiarity with multimedia on embedded systems and GPU as a compute engine. - Knowledge of virtualization technologies and GPU optimization. - Experience in modern 3D graphics applications using OpenGLES API. - Proficiency in writing vertex and fragment shaders using GLSL. - Preferred knowledge in operating systems like Android, QNX, embedded Linux, Genivi, Integrity. - Familiarity with Graphics frameworks like Kanzi, QT. - Fluent in industry-standard software tools and communication skills. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of experience in Software Engineering. - OR Master's degree in the relevant field with 2+ years of experience. - OR PhD in the relevant field with 1+ year of experience. - 2+ years of experience with programming languages. - Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Passion for excellence in programming and exceeding goals.,
