Description
As an ELV Engineer Modeller, you will play a crucial role in delivering ICT, Security, and ELV components for diverse built environment projects across various global regions. Your responsibilities will entail showcasing robust project design and modelling proficiency in ICT, Security, and ELV systems for significant international projects. You will be tasked with identifying project scope and coordinating activities among MEP and other project stakeholders, ensuring seamless design models and team management to provide a comprehensive design experience for ICT, Security, and ELV systems. Your expertise will be utilized in designing and modelling ICT, Security, and ELV systems for a wide array of buildings, ranging from concept design to detailed design phases. Moreover, you will be expected to ensure that the design and model of ICT, Security, and ELV systems adhere to established standards such as TIA/EIA, BS, BICSI, TRA, SIRA, ADMCC, Etisalat, and Du. Your role will also involve evaluating design model changes and addressing non-conformities related to ICT, Security, and ELV systems to meet all requirements effectively. Additionally, you will be involved in developing suitable schematics, performing BIM/Revit modelling, coordination, and conducting design reviews using Navisworks for model collaboration. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's (BE/BTech) or Masters degree (MTech) in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Electronics Engineering, along with a practical understanding of ICT, Security, and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems. Proficiency in Autodesk CAD, Revit, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) is mandatory, while hands-on design experience with Bentley MicroStation, Aecosim, and Open Building Design platforms is advantageous. Furthermore, your expertise in industry-standard software skills, including Wi-Fi heat mapping, IP video simulation, PA/BGM speaker simulation, and BIM, will be valuable.
