ELV Commissioning engineer

As an ELV Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise, cost analysis, scheduling guidance, and design recommendations for Access Control, CCTV, and Structured Cabling Systems. Your role will involve reviewing and validating consultant design packages and subcontractor proposals, material submittals, and method statements related to these systems. Additionally, you will offer value engineering and constructability advice on ELV systems and coordinate interface documentation. You will play a crucial role in managing, scheduling, and monitoring the implementation of Access Control, CCTV, and Structured Cabling systems. Your core responsibilities will include ensuring that subcontractors adhere to relevant standards and effectively plan, initiate, execute, and monitor ELV work to meet specified time, cost, and quality requirements. In this position, a clear and systematic approach to work delivery is essential. You must possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and have the ability to produce compelling written materials such as letters and reports. Independent problems solving skills, follow-through, patience, and respect for local customs are also key qualities expected in this role. Your technical competencies should include professional working knowledge of Security Systems and Passive ICT systems, along with technical familiarity in Audio Visual systems, Building Management System, Fire Alarm System, Public Address System, and technical writing. Prior experience as a commissioning engineer for at least 1 year is required for this full-time position.
