Job Description

  • Responsible for maintaining his/her complete up-to-date training file. Individual is responsible for ensuring he/she is trained and training is documented prior to performing a task. Individual is accountable for any deficiencies found in his/her training file.
  • Demonstrates proficiency/expertise in assigned tasks.
  • Work on issue resolution mainly based on excel file comparisons, but including use of other software tools too, for samples that have / will be shipped to external labs for testing. Examples are (but not limited to these): (1) pro-active verifications that all the required information is available for the samples that need to get shipped / have been shipped. (2) Addition of any missing information based on other data sources if available ; (3) pro-active checks that the test codes are correctly ordered in preparation of data base locks ; (4) communicate to internal and external stake holders (as needed) if issues are encountered.
  • Provide support with the final cleaning of the database after result upload including verification that all results provided by the lab have been uploaded in our database.
  • Manage the Data Coordinator mailbox: Follow up until resolution within Labcorp on any issues with shipping manifests (ePL’s) (for example missing manifests, missing collection date and time, subject ID discrepancies, duplicate samples etc); communication on these ePL issues with the external labs and internal stake holders. Raise potential structural issues with these ePL’s to GSM/SDL/EL manager managing the lab. Escalate non responsiveness to management
  • Based on business need, supports the other position of the group upon request.
  • Other duties as assigned
