To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of business processes and workflows, experience in eliciting, documenting, and managing requirements (BRD, FRD, user stories), proficient in stakeholder communication and management, knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC, Agile, Scrum), ability to read and interpret technical documentation (APIs, data models), familiarity with databases and SQL for data analysis, analytical & problem-solving skills - including root cause analysis, translating business needs into technical requirements, facilitating meetings and workshops, writing clear and concise documentation, and proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, and Visio. Additionally, highly valued skills may include experience with APIs, XML/JSON, or scripting languages (e.g., Python), familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau), domain expertise in industry-specific knowledge (e.g., finance, banking), and soft skills like negotiation and conflict resolution. In this role based out of Pune, your purpose will be to collaborate with product owners and technical teams involved in the product development process, utilizing your knowledge of the bank's technologies to enact the vision defined in the product roadmap. Your accountabilities will include providing subject matter expertise to support collaboration between the product owner and the technical side of product development, supporting the development and implementation of the product strategy and vision, collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements, developing and implementing assessments for continuous testing and improvement of product quality, monitoring product performance for optimization opportunities, and staying updated on industry technology trends to enhance product development and delivery. As a Senior Technical Business Analyst, you will be expected to advise and influence decision-making, contribute to policy development, take responsibility for operational effectiveness, lead a team performing complex tasks, set objectives, coach employees, and demonstrate strong leadership behaviors.
