As a Field Service Engineer, your responsibilities will include providing on-site installation, validation, and commissioning of instruments. You will be expected to perform hands-on troubleshooting, service, and repairs at the customers" location. Additionally, you will deliver high-level technical support to external customers and conduct on-site training sessions for them. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional work teams such as field applications, customer support/services, product management, manufacturing, and marketing/sales. You will be responsible for developing service technical documentation and updating service information in the company's enterprise database. Handling field service calls and addressing any arising issues promptly and professionally will also be part of your duties. To excel in this position, you should have 0-1 years of experience in the Elevators Industry. Your tasks will include assembling, installing, repairing, and maintaining elevators, as well as testing newly installed equipment to ensure compliance with specifications. Proficiency in electric wiring, electronics, and maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment is essential. You will be required to maintain detailed logbooks of all repairs and checks performed, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and building codes. Furthermore, you should possess good computer knowledge and hold a Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering. Key skills for this role include maintenance, electricals, wiring, electronics, elevators installation, and lift technician expertise. This is a full-time, permanent position suitable for freshers. Position- Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager-Installation Experience:- 8 years' experience Location: - Gurgaon Qualification: Min. BE/B.Tech. in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical Or Any Diploma We expect you to have: • Experience in Elevator & Escalator in Installation. • Deep knowledge of elevator product, component, installation, and business challenges Strong technical knowledge of Elevator and Escalator products and required code regulations • Strong organizing, analytical and problem-solving skills • Drive for results and persistence with can do attitude • Fluent communication skills in English, other languages are an asset Responsibilities & Key activities: Site Supervision Process: • Accountable for the delivery of the installation project. • Accountable for Site Safety. • Responsible for securing efficient management of environmental aspects of the installation (waste handling, hazardous material). • Accountable for the financial result of the project (cannot be responsible for costs associated with changes in factory prices or exchange rate variables). • Participates to the sales/installation hand-over and validates the term of the order received from the customer together with the salesperson. • Prepares the overall installation program and resource planning. • Responsible for planning and organizing the delivery and storage of materials and tools to the site and placing the orders to subcontractors and Non KONE factory material suppliers. • Responsible for site preparations and follow-up of site readiness. • Accountable for use of correct KONE installation methods throughout the installation. • Ensures cost control as per action plans during budget, and pre-calculated CM2% towards achieving the R80 targets. • Responsible for administrative activities of the project including daily human resource management (absences, time sheet review/approvals) and reports project progress (schedule, installation hours, fitter time sheets, budget and risks) to his superiors. • Responsible for maintaining project documentation. • Updates information to company management systems (eg S-plan milestone updates). • Collaborates with Accounts payable / Controlling to ensure site activities are planned and executed in accordance with contractual payment terms and actual payments received. • Accountable for final testing of the equipment and handover to maintenance. Join us as a Project Engineer - New Installation Your main responsibilities Role of Project Engineer: Plan, manufacture, install, commission, and finalize all phases of the project, including engineering design, planning, quality, and manufacturing. Develop a plan for the project s requirements, resources, and subcontracting. Identify and correct potential risks in the project.
