As a Service Technician specializing in Elevators, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of elevator systems in the Bangalore area. With a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of elevators and escalators. Your main responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance, inspections, and servicing of elevator equipment. You will be tasked with diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, and control system faults to ensure optimal functionality. Promptly attending service calls and addressing breakdowns efficiently will be essential to minimize downtime for our clients. Additionally, you will be required to replace faulty parts, adjust settings, and uphold compliance with manufacturer standards. Keeping accurate service and maintenance records, as well as ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines, are vital aspects of this role. Effective communication with customers regarding service updates and repair requirements will be a key part of your daily interactions. To excel in this position, you should hold a Diploma/ITI in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent) and possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in elevator servicing and maintenance. A strong understanding of elevator control systems, wiring diagrams, and safety codes is necessary. The ability to work independently, manage multiple service calls, and demonstrate good communication and customer handling skills are crucial. Being physically fit to handle equipment and work at heights is a must for this role. A valid driving license is preferred to support your mobility for on-call duties and emergency situations.
