As a Sr. Engineer - Product Safety at Schindler India, your primary responsibility will be to examine the quality of elevators and escalators post-installation to ensure they meet set quality standards. You will conduct timely audits for elevators and escalators within the active portfolio of the branch. Your key responsibilities will include interacting and coordinating with the installation personnel to conduct the SAIS test for certification of elevators. This test is crucial as it certifies that the elevator meets Schindler standards post-installation and commissioning. Additionally, you will collaborate with the maintenance team to conduct the CPSI test for certification of elevators. The CPSI test standardizes, consolidates, and documents safety inspection requirements and practices for all Schindler elevators after every five years of operation. To excel in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience for installation or 7 years of experience for service personnel. A degree or diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics engineering is mandatory for this position.
