Position Summary The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for the successful operations of the plant which include; general supervision of all phases of production, quality control, equipment maintenance, procurement, receiving, and shipping. Responsibilities also include recruiting, hiring, training personnel, and facility/physical plant upkeep. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of anodizing machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production data, including batch numbers, process parameters, and inspection results. Provide reports on production status and any deviations or issues. Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and ensure adherence to environmental and quality standards. Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed during the anodizing process. Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors, quality control teams, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely production. Qualifications & Requirements: Education: Diploma in Chemical. Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in anodizing aluminum alloys, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of anodizing techniques, equipment, and chemical processes. Skills: Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Role & responsibilities The R&D Scientist is responsible for supporting R&D projects, both alone and in collaboration with other R&D personnel. Experience in areas like Surface finishing, Aluminum Anodizing, Conversion coating, Corrosion resistant coatings, Electroplating, Electroless plating, Plating on plastics, Polymers for surface coating application. Project work will be the focus, with application development based on Customer requirement, raw material qualification, materials characterization expected to occupy some proportion of the work. Responsible for the operation of pilot line, perform scale-up trials, and support beta-site activities. Accountable for the completion of product and application development projects in a timely manner. Must maintain detailed records of research activities. This includes both laboratory notebooks as well as Technical Memoranda. Must maintain and safeguard confidential and trade secret information regarding products, processes, and techniques. The Scientist III will have responsibilities, like support ISO audit program, monitor and follow health and lab safety and take-up additional responsibilities, as when requirement comes up.
