Role & responsibilities : Hardware Testing Engineer- Electronics Loading of Program / Firmware, testing of Embedded and FPGA systems Comprehensive experience in testing embedded electronics hardware for various applications. Experience in testing and troubleshooting of RS-232, RS-422/485, Ethernet, I2C, SPI interfaces. Experience in Unit and Module level testing as per Functional Test Procedure. Hands on experience in Documentation. Carrying out Acceptance Level Testing and Qualification Level testing of systems - ESS, Climatic and Dynamic Testing, EMI/EMC, compilation of Acceptance Reports. Experience in carrying out testing at customer site . Experience in handling / usage of Test & Measuring Equipment like DMMs, Meggars, Programmable Power supplies, HiPot testers, Oscilloscopes, RF Signal generators, RF Spectrum Analysers and Function Generators. Handle wiring, soldering, and connector fitting for device panels and modules. Conduct rework and repair of faulty components or assemblies as needed. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Desired Candidate Profile 0-5 years of experience in PCB assembly, soldering, SMD placement, or related fields. Ability to work accurately under tight tolerances using hand tools and specialized equipment. Basic knowledge of electronic components' functions and characteristics.

Identify root causes of failures using techniques such as visual inspection, X-ray, microscope analysis, ICT, functional testing, and boundary scan. Debug complex analog/digital/mixed-signal circuits using tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and soldering stations. Document analysis results, generate detailed failure reports, and maintain a failure database for trend analysis. Support quality and manufacturing teams with ongoing reliability improvement efforts. Maintain ESD-safe lab environment and adhere to safety and quality standards. Skills Required: Strong knowledge of electronics components, circuit design, and PCBA manufacturing processes. Experience with soldering and rework of fine-pitch and SMT components.
