The Development engineer, Electronic at HemoCue is responsible for finding replacement components, update the design documents and together with the team test the design change within the Sustaining Engineering department. You will be joining a cutting-edge company that specializes in developing AI vision solutions for industrial automation and robotics, with a focus on deploying these solutions on edge devices like ARM64 boards. The products you will work on integrate advanced hardware and software to deliver innovative, license-based AI vision systems for various industries including manufacturing, logistics, and robotics. As an Embedded Systems and Robotics Intern, your primary responsibility will be to design and develop hardware and software solutions for AI vision systems, particularly focusing on NVIDIA Jetson Nano-based applications. You will have the opportunity to design 3D casings for Jetson Nano boards using AutoCAD/CAM tools, contribute to embedded systems development, and work on innovative ideas within the realms of robotics and industrial automation. This role demands expertise in a variety of areas including STM32, Arduino, ARM64, FPGA, ROS, RTOS, PLC connectivity, and industrial communication protocols such as TCP/IP, Modbus, Profinet, and RS232. To qualify for this role, you should be pursuing a Bachelors/Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related field. Proficiency in programming and configuring STM32 microcontrollers, Arduino platforms, ARM64 architectures, FPGA development, Real-Time Operating Systems, Robot Operating System, TCP/IP communication, industrial protocols, AutoCAD or CAM tools, logic-building skills, and teamwork are among the essential qualifications for this position. 1st-level customer support for Q-topics Capture customer specific requirements and integrate special requirements within plant processes as per IATF 16949 requirements. Responsible for PPAP ontime submission to customer based on customer specific requirements. Will be actively participating in SE (Simultaneous Engineering team) /PAT (Product start Team)/ QGC (Quality Gate Customer) meetings to capture the product requirement at early stage and also giving inputs or suggestions based on experience. Responsible for active participation in process FMEA and bring the learning and inputs from SE/PAT/QG meetings to FMEAFMEA coordination.
