Job Description

Role Overview: You will join CoreData Networks as an Electronics Product Soldering Technician, where you will play a crucial role in soldering components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) and assembling electronic products. Your attention to detail and experience in soldering will contribute to the high-quality solutions delivered to our customers. Key Responsibilities: - Perform high-precision soldering and rework on Fine-pitch ICs, Smallest SMD components (e.g. 0402/0201), BGA / QFN / QFP packages - Assemble, modify, and repair prototype PCBs following engineering drawings, schematics, and rework instructions - Utilize tools such as Hot air rework stations, Microscopes, Multimeters, and oscilloscopes for basic usage - Collaborate with hardware design and R&D engineers to implement design changes and provide feedback from a manufacturability/soldering perspective - Maintain high quality standards in solder joints, cleanliness, and ESD-safe handling - Document rework/assembly activities and manage inventory of components and tools - Continuously seek better methods, tools, or processes to enhance speed, quality, and repeatability of R&D builds Qualifications: - 2-3 years of hands-on experience as an Electronics Technician / Soldering Technician / PCB Rework Technician or similar role - Proven expertise in manual SMD soldering and rework, including very small components (0402/0201 or similar), BGA, and other complex IC packages - Ability to work confidently under a microscope for extended periods - Familiarity with ESD practices, safe handling of electronics, and basic PCB assembly standards - Capability to read and understand schematics, PCB layouts, and assembly drawings at a basic to intermediate level - Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with R&D engineers and cross-functional teams - Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and repair soldering defects or assembly issues - Team player attitude to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Preferred Qualifications: - Certification in IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 in soldering and electronic assembly is a plus - Experience with surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole soldering techniques - Exposure to testing and validation of assembled boards - Basic understanding of digital and analog electronics - Self-motivated with a proactive approach and able to work with minimal supervision - Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality workmanship, and willingness to experiment with new tools and methods for improvement Additional Company Details: CoreData Networks is a leading provider of innovative electronic products dedicated to delivering top-notch solutions to customers.
