Electronics Hardware Design Engineer

Artronifs is looking for a skilled Hardware Design Engineer to design, develop, and validate electronic hardware for embedded and digital systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating schematic designs, PCB layouts, and ensuring system performance, reliability, and manufacturability. This role involves close collaboration with firmware, and client teams to deliver robust and optimized hardware solutions.

Role & responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic circuits for embedded systems, including analog, digital, and power electronics.
• Create detailed schematics and PCB layouts.
• Perform component selection, BOM preparation, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with firmware engineers for hardware-software integration and debugging.
• Conduct signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal analysis as required.
• Validate designs through bench testing, prototyping, and debugging using lab instruments (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, power analyzer, etc.).
• Prepare and maintain design documentation including circuit descriptions, test reports, and revision histories.
• Ensure compliance with relevant EMC, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Support customers with production engineering during mass manufacturing stages.
• Continuously improve designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability.

Preferred candidate profile

• 2-4 years of experience in electronic hardware design and development.
• Strong understanding of embedded hardware components, microcontrollers, and mixed-signal design.
• Experience with debugging and testing hardware systems.
• Familiarity with communication interfaces such as UART, SPI, IC, USB, Ethernet, Bluetooth, etc.
• Knowledge of power supply design, DC-DC converters, LDOs and analog front ends.
• Hands-on experience with prototyping and hardware bring-up.
• Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills.
• Good communications skills is an advantage.
