As an individual responsible for PPCB Assembly & Testing, your main tasks will involve performing component-level assembly which includes soldering and replacing defective parts on circuit boards and other electronic assemblies. Additionally, you will be responsible for the assembly, wiring, and testing of new development products. It is essential for you to be familiar with all lab equipment such as multi-meters, clamp meters, power analyzers, and other lab testing equipment. When it comes to documentation, you will need to maintain proper records of assembly, testing, validation, and other documents in an organized manner. Quality control is a crucial aspect of the role, thus ensuring that all work complies with electronics manufacturing quality standards and safety regulations is of utmost importance. To be considered for this role, you should have either an ITI or Diploma in Electronics. However, experienced individuals with similar qualifications are also encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of hands-on experience in PPCB assembly, testing, and validation. Key skills required for this position include a strong understanding of electronic component types and values, circuits, and equipment. Proficiency in PPCB assembly and hand soldering is essential, along with the ability to use electronic testing and diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and Clamp Meters. Being able to read and understand technical manuals, circuit diagrams, and wiring schematics is also necessary. Strong communication skills are vital, as you will be required to explain technical issues in simple terms. Moreover, the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment is crucial for success in this role.
