As a Sr Engineer/ Lead Engineer specializing in Power Electronics with 6 to 10 years of experience, you will be responsible for managing power converter design and development projects. You will work on hardware such as AC to DC, PFC, DC to DC, DC to AC ranging from a few watts to around 50KW. Your role will involve driving technically and overseeing all stages of the project development lifecycle. Your expertise in different topologies for power conversion will be crucial for this role. You should have hands-on experience in power converter designs, including topology selection, schematics preparation, component selection, and PCB design guidance. Additionally, experience in low or high power board bring up and functional testing is required. Proficiency in tools like Xpedition, Allegro, Orcad, PADS for magnetics design and construction methods is essential. You should also have practical experience in pre-compliance and compliance testing. Your responsibilities will include preparing design documentation such as loss calculations, test plans, detailed design specifications, derating, FMEA, reliability, and MTBF. Experience with hardware tools like Energy/Power Analysers, Oscilloscopes, Electronic loads, and Function generators will be beneficial. Collaboration skills are key as you will be working in a diverse, cross-functional team environment. Knowledge of Design for Excellence principles including DFT, DFM, and DFA is desired. To qualify for this role, you should have a Graduation/Post graduation in Electrical & Electronics/Power Electronics or equivalent. Strong written and oral communication skills are necessary to effectively communicate within the team and with stakeholders.,
