PURPOSE OF THE JOB Provides field engineering leadership, assist and support to projects & PI team for investigation, troubleshooting and resolution of technical/quality issues ORGANISATION Organization structure (job belongs to..) Advises PI management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product enhancements Drive Kx (8D) issues with Quality and internal & external Suppliers as support of PrPIM Ensure completeness and quality of input to Failure Management data base for RAMS exploitation Drive Reliability Growth through failure/event investigation and reliability forecast implementation (with RAMS support). Drive and support containment to avoid reoccurrence of failures Supports as-maintained Alstom product configuration control and relevant documentation management Support technical reviews with internal and external Suppliers, partners, customers, authorities Ensure & facilitate information flow within the PI Customer Site, PI functions and project teams. Provides status and transparence on PI activities, key technical issues, to PrPIM. Apply EHS requirements on site with the support of EHS team representatives Drive technical Return of Experience/reporting/feedback as support of PrPIM Support Obsolescence Management (if applicable) Support preparation and implementation of Field Modifications (FM) Performance measurements: Achievement of contractual reliability (milestone) targets Achievement of contractual availability (milestone) targets Containment and solution of K1S/K2/K3 issues on time Completeness and Quality of failure/event diagnosis/data and relevant documentation Reliability improvement after FM implementation Achievement of PI Dashboard Achievement of configuration updates Achievement of REX implementation Audit results (internal and external) Compliance with EHS rules and work-related processes MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES Mandatory: Graduate in Engineering or Industrial (Internal Graduation (cadre interne in F) acceptable) Internal EHS training English Desirable: Masters degree in Engineering Experience Mandatory: Several years of technical experience, either mechanical or electrical / electronic engineering Railway safety & RAM EHS knowledge/exposure Product knowledge Data analytics Desirable: General Railway knowledge Field Experience Problem Solving skills DFQ, Quality and Audit skills Customer contact

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 1+ year of Support Engineering or related work experience. OR Associate's degree and 2+ years of Support Engineering or related work experience. OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of Support Engineering or related work experience. *Completed advanced degree in a relevant field may be substituted for up to one year (Masters = one year) of work experience. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field. Certification in Acoustics or Acoustics background with an understanding of related standards Hands-on experience with Audio Analyzers - Head Acoustics, Audio Precision, B&K etc.3+ years of experience in a lab environment, working on Anechoic/ Acoustic setups and calibration(microphones, speakers, calibrators etc.) Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Performs organizational or low-level development and process and/or product test support tasks. Executes modifications and revisions of electronic parts, software, system, components or circuitry with some supervision. Provides layout and design support for engineers and recommendations for midsized projects with some guidance. Installs, upgrades, configures, and helps operate company products and/or components based on specifications, tolerances and reliability. Monitors product performance and analyzes moderately complex failures or malfunctions. Gathers and integrates data and information from stakeholders to understand simple specifications and develop basic solutions. Collaborates with individuals inside own team and across other teams to complete project work while managing and executing individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Level of Responsibility: Works independently with minimal supervision. Decision-making affects direct area of work and/or work group. Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information. Generating high quality manufacturing ATPG test patterns for stuck-at (SAF) , transition fault (TDF ) models through the use of on-chip test compression techniques. M BIST verification (including repair), test pattern generation through Mentor tool. ATPG (SAF, TDF) and MBI ST verification using unit delay and min/max timing corner s imulations . Work with the P roduct /Test engineering teams on the delivery of manufacturi ng test patterns for ATE . Responsible for supporting post silicon debug effort, issue resolution . Responsible for Diagnostic Tool generation for ATPG , MBIST and bring-up on ATE. Developing, enhancing and maintaining scripts as necessary Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 1-6 year s experience in ASIC/DFT - simulation and Silicon validation Detailed knowledge on DFT concepts, pattern simulation, Silicon debug and yield enhancement In depth knowledge and hands-on experience in ATPG - coverage analysis. In depth knowledge of Memory verification, repair and failure root-cause analysis. Experience with any of these tools is required ATPG - TestKompress MBIST - Mentor ETVerify Simulation - VCS (preferred), modelsim . General Summary: 12+ years of experience in SoC design Should have knowledge of AMBA protocols - AXI, AHB, APB, SoC clocking/reset/debug architecture and peripherals like USB, PCIE and SDCC. Understanding of Memory controller designs and microprocessors is an added advantage Hands on experience in constraint development and timing closure Work closely with the SoC verification and validation teams for pre/post Silicon debug Hands on experience in Low power SoC design is required Experience in Synthesis / Understanding of timing concepts for ASIC is required. Hands on experience in Multi Clock designs, Asynchronous interface is a must.
