Job Description: Kitron is currently seeking a Product Quoting Engineer to join our team in Chennai, India. As a Product Quoting Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include calculating labor costs for assigned projects, analyzing technical data provided by customers, leading the labor calculation aspect of projects, providing technical support to Key Account Managers and Quoting specialists, conducting investigations and assessing process flows at Kitron manufacturing sites, participating in cross-functional projects, sharing knowledge to contribute to process improvement, ensuring work quality aligns with established procedures, and collaborating with site engineers to gather necessary data. Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in manufacturing or electronics engineering. Alternatively, relevant work experience can substitute for formal education. You must have a minimum of 3 years of work experience and a solid background in electronics manufacturing with a comprehensive understanding of technical processes. Proficiency in reading PCBA and electronic drawings is essential, along with strong English language skills. Attention to detail, a commitment to excellence, the ability to meet challenging deadlines, adaptability, and resilience are key qualities for this position. You should possess strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, initiative in problem-solving, and goal achievement. Proficient knowledge of mechanical assembly is considered an advantage.
