Electronic Data Interchange Specialist

Job Description: As an experienced EDI Functional Consultant, you will play a crucial role in managing and supporting EDI operations across Retail and Manufacturing business units. Your expertise in EDI integrations, communication protocols, EDI mapping, and SQL scripting will be vital in ensuring seamless data flow between business partners. This hands-on role in a cross-functional environment will give you the opportunity to optimize EDI processes and drive efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and support EDI operations across Retail and Manufacturing business units. - Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and maintenance of EDI integrations. - Work with communication protocols such as VAN, AS2, and SFTP using Lexicom. - Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot SQL scripts on Oracle and SQL Server. - Interpret and manage EDI maps (e.g., X12, EDIFACT, or custom formats). - Troubleshoot EDI issues and recommend improvements. - Ensure data accuracy, process efficiency, and timely issue resolution. Qualification Required: - 10+ years of relevant experience in EDI consulting, preferably in Retail and Manufacturing. - Strong functional understanding of end-to-end EDI workflows. - Hands-on experience with Lexicom and communication protocols (VAN, AS2, SFTP). - Proficiency in writing and debugging SQL queries/scripts (Oracle and SQL Server). - Experience with EDI mapping standards such as X12, EDIFACT, or custom formats. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and within a team in shift-based schedules.,
