Electronic Access Control & CCTV Technicians

As a skilled Security Technician at ACC, your role involves performing service, repair, installation, and maintenance of all security-related systems. Your responsibilities include resolving operational and safety concerns, implementing preventive maintenance, and collaborating with other skilled trades. Key Responsibilities: - Perform service/installation of access control, intrusion alarm, closed-circuit television systems, and other security-related systems. - Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot systems, and carry out necessary repairs. - Assist in developing training programs for employees. - Upgrade and add to systems to enhance functionality. - Coordinate with administration and other trades to efficiently complete projects/work orders. - Prepare documentation in various formats for compliance and information sharing. - Request equipment and supplies to maintain inventory. - Respond to emergency situations for immediate resolution of safety/security concerns. - Transport tools, equipment, and supplies to job sites. - Assist other trades personnel as required for project completion. - Attend meetings, workshops, training, and seminars to gather necessary information. Qualifications Required: - Ability to select the proper cable type and perform installations in different environments. - Familiarity with local, state, and federal codes related to security and life safety equipment. - Intermediate knowledge of computer systems, networks, and structured cabling. - High School diploma or equivalent education. - Three years of experience in installing, servicing, and maintaining access control and closed-circuit television systems. - Minimum 6 months of experience as a helper. - Ability to work independently, follow instructions precisely, and use test equipment effectively. - Demonstrated ability to use standard office software programs. - Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 Kgs, bending, stooping, kneeling, standing, walking long distances, and working at heights. - Preferred: Certification courses in related areas.
