As a Lead Scientist, you will have a pivotal role in driving the Research and Development (R&D) efforts of the organization. We are looking for a visionary individual to lead the R&D initiatives in the design, synthesis, fabrication, and optimization of Aluminum-ion battery Research. Your primary focus will be on material design, electrolyte synthesis, and cell development to facilitate groundbreaking advancements in energy storage. In the realm of Materials Development, you will design and optimize high-performance cathode and anode materials such as high-entropy metal oxides, metal alloys, and composites. Your expertise will be crucial in utilizing advanced synthesis techniques, both organic and inorganic, along with other modification strategies to enhance material properties. In the domain of Electrolyte Engineering, you will be responsible for developing innovative aqueous and ionic liquid electrolytes with exceptional ionic conductivity and electrochemical stability. Additionally, you will explore non-aqueous electrolyte formulations to enhance safety and performance, with a specific focus on SEI layer stabilization, dendrite suppression, and electrolyte-component compatibility. Your role will also involve Performance Optimization and Testing, where you will conduct advanced electrochemical testing including CV, galvanostatic cycling, EIS to evaluate energy density, power density, cycle life, and thermal stability. Moreover, you will perform in-depth failure analysis to identify root causes and optimize battery performance. In terms of Advanced Characterization, you will utilize cutting-edge techniques such as XRD, SEM, FTIR to analyze materials, electrolytes, and interfacial interactions. Your investigations will revolve around degradation mechanisms to enhance battery longevity and reliability. What You Bring to this role: - A Ph.D. or Master's degree in Electrochemistry, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related fields. - Proven expertise in AIB materials, ionic liquid electrolytes, and battery cell fabrication and testing. - Hands-on experience with advanced electrochemical testing techniques and material characterization methods. - Strong understanding of thermal management, dendrite mitigation, and SEI layer engineering. - Familiarity with simulation tools (COMSOL, ANSYS Fluent) for battery system modeling. - A track record of publications, patents, and contributions to the field of AIB technology and other battery technologies.,
