Danfoss is seeking an energy-efficiency minded Key Account Manager to develop and manage sales. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting customer accounts at the corporate level as a true partner to customers. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, achieving annual sales targets, presenting, promoting, and selling products/solutions to existing and prospective customers, maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, controlling expenses and receivables, and having strong technical knowledge of hydraulic circuits, products, and the industry. The Key Account Manager will also establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships, assess customer needs, provide assistance and relevant information on product features, monitor designated customers and competition activities, reach out to customer leads through cold calling, maintain a strong pipeline of new projects, handle service calls as needed, and coordinate sales efforts within teams. The ideal candidate must have a total work experience of 10+ years, including a minimum of 7 years in channel management, preferably in the hydraulics industry. Good knowledge of basic mobile hydraulics & systems, effective use of Value selling, some knowledge of Electro-Hydraulic, ability to work under pressure, proficiency in communication (written and verbal), proficiency in MS Office usage, and an Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical, are required. The candidate should be ready to travel extensively and have a go-getter approach, with a preference from the Hydraulic or automotive Industry. Key Result Areas: 1. System ArchitectureDesign and integration. 2. Performance analysis and optimization 3. Adherence to Compliance. 4. Organizational imperatives. Job Description: The incumbent will be responsible for: 1. System Architecture Design and Integration. Defining and translating complex system requirements into detailed engineering specifications. Selecting appropriate components and subsystems for optimal system performance. Perform trade studies to select optimal system configurations ofElectrohydraulic and Electromechanical systems. Conduct safety analysis to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks. Develop detailed system block diagrams and interface control documents. Ensures System design adheres to all applicable Aerospace safety regulations and standards. Addressing compliances and non-compliances related to customer requirements. Knowledge of drafting equipment and component specifications. 2.Performance analysis and optimization Leading technical discussions and presenting findings to stakeholders. Inputs to Design team for component selection and testing team for test cases. Effectively communicate system design concepts, performance data and test results to CFT. Conduct performance simulations to evaluate system capabilities against design requirements. Select and validate the right hydraulic/electrical element. Analyse the test data to assess the system performance. Evaluate the tradeoffs between performance weight and design considerations. 3. Adherence to Compliance Ensure adherence to systems and documentation as per AS9100, EMS, OHSAS & ISMS, and customer-specific requirements. Valuing the information received & effort spent in creating every piece of information. Ensuring the right information is accessed by right individuals. Ensuring Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of information. Responsible to control usage of energy sources for Environmental protection and Energy Security for sustainable growth. 4. Organisational Imperatives Participate in improvement initiatives such as Kaizen,PMO, Cross functional projects and Business Excellence etc. To ensure Enterprise Risk Management for Key Processes, Subordinate and Team Development and Adherence to Compliance and Safe Working Environment Follow Values, Code of Conduct and Business Ethics and Safety practices in all work operations. Qualifications Required: Essential: B.Tech: Mechanical / Aerospace Preferred: M.Tech degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Behavioral Competencies Required: 1. Think Strategically 2. Drive Future Readiness 3. Deliver Results 4. Build Stakeholder Relationship Functional/Technical Competencies Required: 1. Proven Experience in system engineering and performance simulations. Knowledge of MBSE (Model Based System Engineering) an added advantage. 2. Expertise in system engineering methodologies and tools purposes. 3.
