Role & responsibilities 1. Mechanical design of electro-optical devices as per design requirements. 2. 3D modeling and design analysis of components, module and complete device. 3. Generation of applicable design drawings. 4. Fabrication of prototype/finalized mechanical components. 5. Mechanical assembly of complete devices. 6. Design new products mechanical housing so as to incorporate PCBs, Connectors, and Plugs, Layout control models and Thermal Core / Image Intensifier Tubes etc. 7. Modify existing designs to cater new requirements. 8. Improve production techniques wherever applicable. 9. Determine root cause analysis and testing activities. Manage & scope investigations into form or function of a feature or set of features in a design. Develop test procedures wherever applicable. 10. Creation and refinement of complex mechanical components including Sourcing, Volume models and Key performance parameters etc. 11. Tie up with OEMs for new products and solutions. 12. Demonstration of the products to the clients whenever required. 13. Preparation of the technical specs /datasheet/brochure of the products highlighting the USP (Unique Selling Points) as well as QRs for a tender. 14. Updation of the cases with status in SAP, wherever applicable. 15. Prepares and presents mechanical designs to other members of the design team and project it to the stakeholders at design reviews. 16. Responsible for finalizing the Bill of Materials (BOM) for mechanical items/spares against each product designed and developed in house and upload in SAP system. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: 1. Applicants should possess exceptional oral and written communication skills. 2. Proficiency in MS Office suite and strong computer literacy are required. 3. Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and manage time efficiently is essential. 4. Proven capability to collaborate effectively with management and team across all levels.
