Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and safety-conscious Electrical Incharge to lead and manage all electrical operations, maintenance, and installations at our facility in Nashik. The Electrical Incharge will be responsible for ensuring the uninterrupted and safe functioning of all electrical systems, equipment, and machinery, leading a team of electricians, and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities: Operational Management & Supervision: Oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all electrical systems, equipment, and machinery within the plant/facility (e.g., HT/LT panels, transformers, switchgear, motors, VFDs, control systems, lighting, DG sets, earthing systems). Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of electricians, technicians, and contract workers, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring quality of work. Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and predictive maintenance strategies to minimize breakdowns and maximize uptime. Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns, diagnose root causes, and ensure efficient and safe repairs. Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all electrical safety codes (e.g., Indian Electricity Rules), company safety policies (LOTO - Lock Out Tag Out), and best practices. Conduct regular safety inspections of electrical installations and equipment, identifying and mitigating potential hazards. Lead safety briefings and training for the electrical team, promoting a strong safety culture. Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory regulations and certifications (e.g., electrical inspectorate requirements). Installation & Project Management: Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems. Manage electrical projects, including planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and timeline adherence. Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers for specialized services or material procurement. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all electrical maintenance activities, equipment history, spares consumption, and inspection reports. Utilize and update Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or similar software for data management. Prepare and submit regular reports on electrical performance, downtime analysis, energy consumption, and project progress to management. Inventory & Resource Management: Manage the inventory of electrical spare parts, tools, and consumables, ensuring optimal stock levels. Coordinate with the procurement department for timely purchase of required materials. Ensure proper use, care, and calibration of all electrical testing equipment. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for energy conservation, efficiency improvements, and system upgrades. Stay updated with the latest electrical technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory changes.
