Description
As an experienced candidate with a minimum of 3 years in civil construction or building projects, you will be responsible for various tasks related to electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting at project sites. Your key responsibilities will include: - Carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting works at project sites. - Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, layouts, and circuit diagrams. - Installing, testing, and commissioning wiring, conduit, lighting, and power systems as per site requirements. - Ensuring compliance with IE rules, TNEB regulations, and IS electrical standards. - Coordinating with site engineers, MEP teams, and subcontractors to ensure proper electrical execution. - Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment. - Supervising helpers and ensuring work is completed safely and within deadlines. - Maintaining records of electrical works, materials, and equipment usage. - Ensuring strict adherence to safety norms and company quality standards. Key Skills Required: - Strong knowledge of building electrical systems and panel board wiring - Ability to troubleshoot and repair faults independently - Familiarity with DG sets, UPS, earthing, and lighting protection systems - Knowledge of local electrical codes and load calculations - Good communication and team coordination skills Qualification: - ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering - Valid B-Class Electrical License In addition to the job responsibilities and key skills required, the job is based in Chennai & Project Sites (Tamil Nadu) and is a Full-time, Permanent position. The salary offered will be as per industry standards / Based on experience. Please note that the work location for this role is in person, requiring your presence at the designated sites.
