Job Description: Electrician

Location: GIFT City, Gandhinagar, Gujarat

Roles & Responsibilities:

Installation & Maintenance:

● Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various electrical systems, including HT/LT

electrical equipment (e.g., switchgear, transformers, panels, lighting fixtures).

● Ensure that electrical systems are operating efficiently and perform necessary repairs in a

timely manner.

● Execute electrical installations in compliance with project specifications and safety

standards.

Preventive Maintenance:

● Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks on electrical equipment to minimize

downtime and optimize the performance of electrical systems.

● Identify potential issues and address them before they lead to equipment failure, improving

long-term reliability.

Troubleshooting & Repairs:

● Quickly diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions and faults, minimizing any disruption

to construction progress.

● Use specialized tools and instruments to test and calibrate electrical equipment, ensuring all

installations comply with safety regulations and standards.

Safety & Compliance:

● Adhere strictly to safety protocols, electrical codes, and regulations during installation and

maintenance of electrical systems.

● Follow best practices to maintain safe working conditions on-site and ensure the safety of

yourself and your colleagues.

Support Installation Projects:

● Assist with electrical installations as required, ensuring systems are installed correctly,

efficiently, and according to timelines.

● Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and the construction team to ensure

electrical infrastructure is delivered on schedule.

Documentation & Reporting:

● Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs performed on

electrical systems.

● Prepare detailed reports for management, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory

requirements.

Collaboration:

● Work closely with other electricians, technicians, engineers, and project managers to ensure

electrical systems integrate seamlessly with other construction materials and infrastructure.

● Provide technical support and advice on electrical-related matters throughout the project

lifecycle.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Educational Qualification:

● Diploma or Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology or a related field, or equivalent

experience.

Experience:

● A minimum of 5 to 6 years of experience working with HT/LT electrical systems, including

experience with switchgear, transformers, electrical panels, and other

construction-related electrical systems.

● Hands-on experience with construction materials and understanding how electrical systems

interact with other materials and infrastructure.

Key Skills:

● In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and industry-standard safety

regulations.

● Proficiency in using electrical testing and calibration tools and instruments.

● Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical

manuals.

● Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

● Ability to collaborate effectively in a team and communicate technical information clearly.

● Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Certifications:

● Must possess a B-Grade Electrical License as per local regulations (mandatory).

● Other relevant electrical certifications will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
