AUS is actively looking for self-driven and process-oriented individuals who would be interested in joining team AUS in this fascinating growth journey and be an early contributor to the drone ecosystem of the country which is growing at a very exciting and fast pace. You would be part of Systems and Subsystems R&D of electric propulsion (BLDC motors and relevant ESCs) for multirotor, fixed wing and Hybrid/VTOL drones. Work with the Product Development Team and contribute to product optimisation. Design experiments and conduct tests based on appropriate Test Plans. Document, Record and Maintain observations and analyses. Identify, diagnose and troubleshoot problems. Contribute to the design and design reliability development process. Develop Standard Operating Procedures and Checklists. Establish and control relevant processes. We expect you to be Well versed with BLDC motors and relevant ESCs, that can be coupled with propellers for drone propulsion. Have hands-on experience with any closed loop control systems for BLDC motors. Have good communication skills and people skills. Have 2-4 yrs of experience in any industry with special experience working with electrical propulsion systems. You are awesome if you have Past experience of working on similar responsibilities & roles. Experienced in working on complex projects for high performance vehicles. Knowledge of drones and drone subsystems. Have exposure to coding/scripting esp. in C / C++ / Python. Desired Skills Knowledge of BLDC motors, ESCs and their coupling with propellers for aerial propulsion. Expert knowledge of fundamental characteristics of electrical propulsion and their closed loop control systems. Genuine passion for engineering and technology. Leadership skills. Very good team player. Problem solving attitude. Documentation skills. Interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
