We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our Electrical team in the role of JE/AE at our Kharagpur Plant- RVPL. Key Responsibilities: 1. The Junior/Assistant Engineer (JE/AE) in the Mills Electrical & Automation (E&A) Function of the Electrical Department is responsible for overseeing and managing shift operations for the Mill Section, with a sharp focus on ensuring safety (zero accidents/incidents), achieving statutory compliance through proactive reporting and EHS audits, reducing line downtimes across critical production lines (Z1M, Z2M, AP2), and driving continuous improvement via Kaizens and TPM initiatives. 2. The role entails implementing innovative solutions, ensuring the highest standards of 5S in motor yards/ECR, and guaranteeing the availability and systematic updating of critical spares, BOMs, drawings, manuals, and SAP equipment structures for the An1 line. 3. Additionally, the JE/AE will collaborate cross-functionally to support smooth operations, manage vendors and contractors, and actively contribute to capability building within the team through training and innovation-driven engagement. Qualifications & Experience: Diploma (Electrical) Key Skills & Competencies: Electrical systems, automation controls, SAP-PM, BOM preparation, problem-solving, innovation, EHS compliance, LOTO, TPM, downtime analysis, collaboration, communication, continuous improvement, documentation, 5S.
