As an HW Sr. Engineer at Hero MotoCorp in Jaipur, your main responsibility will be to design, develop, and modify Electronic Modules related hardware, which includes logic boards, analogic boards, and power boards. You will be designing fault-free Modules while adhering to automotive safety standards and ensuring HW design meets vehicle projects targets by collaborating with HW Architect, firmware, integration, and testing teams. Your direct focus will be on critical automotive parts such as Instrument Cluster, BCM, Vehicle Sensors, Immobilisers, Navigation Devices, and Infotainment systems. You will also be required to provide SOR and SRD for specific parts and have knowledge of mobile apps. Your typical day will involve designing and developing HW, problem-solving, implementing corrective measures, preparing design records and testing data, and utilizing your knowledge of mobile app and TFT UI/UX. You are expected to have a B.Tech/M.Tech degree in Electronics with advanced qualifications being an advantage. Proficiency in hardware design tools like Spice and Orcad, as well as an understanding of thermal and electrical simulation using tools like Ansys, Opera, Altair, and JMag, will be beneficial. You should also have knowledge of system-level understanding, IPC, customer voice, software requirements, EMC effects and analysis, automotive standards, communication protocols, and automotive grade standards.
