Supervise day-to-day electrical work at the project site as per drawings and project specifications. Manage installation of HT/LT panels, transformers, switchgear, cabling, earthing, lighting, and other electrical components. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Head of Department (HOD) to lead and manage the electrical maintenance and operations at our chemical process plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all electrical systems, compliance with statutory regulations, and implementation of energy-saving initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operation and maintenance of all electrical systems in the plant. Lead both preventive and breakdown maintenance activities. Ensure adherence to statutory regulations and electrical safety standards. Plan and implement electrical projects , system upgrades, and energy-saving initiatives . Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of electrical failures and execute corrective actions. Manage vendor contracts and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) for all electrical equipment. Maintain accurate documentation for audits and regulatory inspections . Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth and coordinated operations . Drive Quality initiatives and continuous improvement related to electrical systems. Desired Candidate Profile: Strong background in chemical process plant operations . Proven leadership in managing plant electrical infrastructure. Good knowledge of electrical regulations, audits, and safety practices. Hands-on experience in maintenance planning , vendor management, and system troubleshooting.

Min 20 years of experience in Power Distribution Sector. Relevant experience in power utilities & electricity distribution projects. Should have done at least one project of Rs. 1000 Cr or above in the capacity of Team Leader or similar.Developing project plan and implementing the same. Documenting daily, weekly, monthly and yearly report and submitting the same to the top management. Encouraging and assisting the team members and workforce for effective work resulting in improvement.

Min 20 years of experience in Power Distribution Sector. Relevant experience in power utilities & electricity distribution projects. Should have done at least one project of Rs. 1000 Cr or above in the capacity of Team Leader or similar.Developing project plan and implementing the same. 1. Ensure that details of all projects such as scope, location, size, consultants, etc. are populated in the internal tracker by the Jr. Engineer 2. Study the drawings, BOQ, technical specifications, commercial terms, etc of the project in detail. Raise timely and appropriate queries to the client and follow up for response. 3. Raise enquiries to all the suppliers/vendors from approved make list and extended database. Follow up with all vendors until all quotes are received. 4. Undertake estimates in accordance with Company procedures and bring for discussion with Sr. Manager and Management before submission to client. 5. Assist Sr. Manager Estimation for larger tenders, mentoring and developing junior estimators Identify opportunity and risk during tender process 6. To ensure Cost Forecasting and Control.
