Job Description

Design and develop electrical control panels including layout, wiring diagrams, and bill of materials.
Create detailed schematics using AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.
Select electrical components based on project specifications and standards.
Prepare GA drawings, terminal schedules, interconnection diagrams, and cable lists.
Ensure compliance with international and national standards (IEC, IS, UL, CE).
Support the production team during panel fabrication, wiring, and internal QA/QC checks.
Collaborate with procurement, mechanical, and project teams for seamless execution.
Perform load calculations and ensure proper component sizing and panel ventilation.
Prepare and maintain documentation for design approvals, FAT, and project handover.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
2-5 years of experience in electrical panel design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical / EPLAN / SolidWorks Electrical.
Knowledge of industrial control systems (PLCs, VFDs, contractors, relays, etc).
Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and best practices.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
