Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Panel Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, drafting, and developing electrical control panels (MCC, PCC, APFC, VFD, Soft Starter, PLC panels, etc.) as per client requirements and relevant standards. The role involves close coordination with project, production, and quality teams to ensure timely and accurate execution. Key Responsibilities: Design electrical control panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and schematic drawings using AutoCAD / EPLAN or similar software. Select appropriate switchgear components, protection devices, and wiring accessories as per specifications. Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) for electrical panels. Ensure designs comply with relevant standards (IEC, IS, etc.) and customer specifications. Work with the production team to resolve design-related queries during manufacturing. Optimize panel designs for cost-effectiveness and ease of assembly. Review and revise designs based on client or project team feedback. Assist in testing, troubleshooting, and final inspection of panels when required. Requirements: 10th Pass to Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical panel design (freshers with strong skills may also apply). Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical / EPLAN and MS Office. Knowledge of LV control panel types (MCC, PCC, APFC, VFD, PLC, Soft Starter). Strong understanding of electrical components, wiring practices, and safety standards. Preferred Skills (Optional): Knowledge of PLC & automation hardware selection. Experience with 2D panel design tools. Familiarity with energy efficiency and harmonic mitigation techniques.
