Position Title Fixture Tool Design Engineer Position Reporting To Section Head Manufacturing Technology Work Location: Kothur - Hyderabad Function Designing and Drafting Department Manufacturing Technology Roles & Responsibilities : Communication to internal & external customer. Fixture, process design. development & documentation Feasibility Workout for machine & fixture RFQ, Concept preparation for Fixturing, Techno Commercial comparison- Fixture Suppliers To conduct feasibility study for new enquiries Part to be convert in process - Concept fixturing Communicate progress on tasks to direct supervisor Create detailed 3D/2D designs & drawings for Fix & part Produce detailed drawings & BOM to update in SAP Ensure our designs meet standard & selected Tool design Strong in Knowledge of GD&T & tolerance stacking. Focused on fit functional details while designinig fixtures Participate in team design reviews and analysis Works with manager to provide information that will aid in the initial quoting process May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Strong interpersonal and communication skills Hands on Mechanical, Hydraulic Fixturing knowledge for auto & non-auto parts from cast iron & forging Should be a process driven in nature. Prepare stagewise drawing of parts & Define PFC, PFMEA, Control Plan
