Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Engineer to lead the development of automotive Dash Cam IoT products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing products from concept to release, ensuring their successful transition to production. This role requires hands-on experience with plastic injection molded products, including preparing products for thermal, EMC, and environmental testing. Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, coordinating with vendors and EMS partners, and creating product documentation, such as Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical specifications. The successful candidate should be self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment with rapid product development cycles. A background in tool room or complete product development, especially from NTTF, GTTC, or a similar institution, is a plus. This position is based in Bangalore. Experience Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience in electro-mechanical package design, specifically in plastic injection molded products. Strong knowledge of plastic and die-cast product design, as well as manufacturing processes for mid and high-volume production. Proficiency with 3D solid modeling software, particularly SolidWorks. Excellent understanding of electro-mechanical packaging, thermal management, and EMI considerations. Familiarity with the IDF & ECAD-MCAD transfer process is preferred. Ability to perform tolerance analysis and knowledge of DFM, DFA, and DFT principles. Experience in product packaging design, development, and testing.
