The Motor Winder will work closely with other technicians and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities Wind electric motors according to specifications and schematics. Perform repairs on diesel engines, generators, and various automotive equipment. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repair tasks. Conduct vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot electrical issues and implement solutions. Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally. Assist in heavy lifting tasks as required during the repair process. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in welding, soldering, and mechanical knowledge. Requirements Previous dealership or service technician experience is preferred. Strong understanding of schematics related to electrical systems. Experience with diesel engine repair, automotive repair, and equipment repair is essential. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and performing vehicle maintenance tasks. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues effectively. Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Willingness to perform heavy lifting as part of job duties. Welding and soldering experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
