Job Description:

A Meghalaya based Ferro Alloys Manufacturing company is looking for an Electrical In-charge / Electrical HOD for its unit based in Byrnihat, Meghalaya

Job Description:

• Would be responsible for the Electrical Department vertical of the company as the Electrical - Head of Department and in-charge of all department related activities, management of electrical department staff, and for coordination with Production Department and the Mechanical Department.
• Operation and Maintenance of 15 MVA transformer at the 132 KV/33 KV and 132/33 KV sub-station.
• Operation and maintenance of 7.5 MVA X 2 Furnace transformers.
• Operation and maintenance of 1 MVA X 3 LT transformers.
• Should have good knowledge of Relays settings and their programming of all type of relevant relays.
• Knowledge of CT, PT, Capacitor’s Relays circuits breakers, ABT Meters etc. Should be compatible with electrical Drawings etc.
• Perform all electrical equipment maintenance. Need compulsory knowledge and experience of Repairing VCBs, SF6 Breakers, OLTC Maintenance and Repairs, Erection and Installation of CTs, CVTs, Breakers, Isolators, etc
• Inspection of electrical equipment’s fault detection and solutions.
• Should be prompt and actively take quick survey of the plant for finding out faults and fixing it with immediate action.
• Should have good experience of maintaining and working knowledge of 132 kv and 33kv sub stations.

Job Specification/Requirements:

• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in similar Ferro Alloy/Steel/Cement Industry will be preferred
• Good practical knowledge and understanding of Electrical Drawings, Planning of Projects, Preventive and Shutdown maintenance.
• Enthusiastic, Motivated, Positive Attitude, Hard work & Sincerity and Professionalism towards the duties and responsibilities is expected.
• Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work

Educational Requirements: Candidate should be B.E or B. Tech in Electrical Engineering branch.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
