SUMMARY Electrical Harness Design Engineer Location: Bangalore Experience: 5+ years Must - Have: 4 years of relevant experience in Electrical harness, Catia V5, PLM - Teamcenter, Catia- SKE system Design of 3D Electrical harness routing and definition models in Aerospace Seatings Requirements Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent engineering degree Involvement in design and development of Electrical system installation (ESI)/Integration for Aircraft seating & Front row monument programs Electrical Harness design experience in Business class seats is preferred Manual routing experience as per customer process/standards is preferred Responsible for customer technical interaction, & Conducting quality reviews Finalisation of cable length definition for seat prototype/final production Creation or update of 2D documentation for electrical schematic(diagram), Block diagram, harness component documentation and other technical documents Ensure all designs and drawings meet applicable guidelines and internal design standards Assist manufacturing/assembly during prototype, pilot, and production Provide concepts/proposal in harness routing w.r.t seat electrical/mechanical structures/DMU Definition and coordination of electrical and mechanical interfaces with the system manufacturer, relevant departments and approval bodies Good knowledge in CATIA V5 workbenches like Part design, Generative shape design, Assembly, Drafting and Generative sheet metal is preferred Hands-on experience in PLM tool is required. Teamcenter experience with ECN/ECR is an added advantage Knowledge of Catia V5 SKE system & knowledge on mechanical sheet metal bracket feasibility Knowledge of 3DPDF creation will be an added advantage Preparation of parts lists and production drawings of the electrical installation Good written and oral communication skills - must be able to communicate technical information clearly and concisely Good interpersonal skills - must work well on a team Maintain comprehensive documentation of project activities, includes updates, changes, and key decision

Experience in creating wiring diagrams using E3 cable or Autocad. Experience in creating Wiring Schematics related to functions of electrical/electronic components. Experience with analyzing Automotive electronic/ electrical tools & systems and knowledge in DIN standards. Experience in creating wiring list, schematic diagrams, block diagrams related to electrical systems. Experience in High voltage components and circuits. Experience in 3DMaster and 3D Harness development. Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications.1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.2. He/she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance.3. His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.4. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities.5. Knowledge on welded joints, symbols and implementation. Ability to compute and represent mass on assemblies, aggregates and installations Ability to understand Functional Dimensioning requirements. Design for manufacturability, serviceability. Selection of fasteners and joint design. Able to perform basic calculation. Good knowledge of drawing rules and GD&T using relevant standards. Hands-on experience in 3D, 2D and Harness for modeling and detailing of parts, assemblies and installations using Creo and PLM tools like Windchill Total Experience: 4 to 6 years
