As a Renewable Energy Engineer (Electrical) based in Gurgaon, you will report to the Product Head within the Renewable Energy department. Your primary role will involve working closely with the product manager and assuming the responsibilities of a project manager for various renewable energy projects. Your key responsibilities will include handling projects related to solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems (BESS) as a project manager. This entails overseeing all internal and external communications pertaining to the projects, conducting detailed engineering designs, and managing all aspects of project management such as cost control, team supervision, and stakeholder communication. To excel in this role, you must possess a deep understanding of wind, solar, and BESS projects, as well as experience in Owners Engineering, lender engineering projects, and electrical calculations and studies. Proficiency in software tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential for preparing detailed reports, feasibility studies, and resource assessments. In addition, you should be well-versed in relevant standards and guidelines such as IS, IEC, IEEE, and have the capacity to conduct research, travel to project sites, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Your ability to set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and ensure project completion within budget and scope will be crucial for success in this role. With 6-12 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, preferably in consulting, you are expected to possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, with a Master's Degree in Energy Studies or Renewable Energy being advantageous. Strong communication skills, interpersonal abilities, and self-discipline are essential traits for this position. Moreover, your capacity to work within multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and coordinate effectively with team members are highly valued attributes. As part of the GBU Energy Solutions division under Tractebel Div1, you will contribute to National and International projects involving Solar, Wind, Hybrid, Storage, and Green Hydrogen projects. Your technical expertise in Basic Engineering, Detailed Engineering, Owners Engineering, and Lenders Engineering will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of these projects. The ideal candidate will possess good organizational skills, prioritization abilities, and a growth mindset to adapt to various challenges. Your role will encompass planning, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring project completion within deadlines.
