Electrical Engineer(MEP)

As an MEP (Electrical) Engineer, your role will involve reviewing construction drawings to ensure goods match specifications, coordinating project scheduling, and monitoring progress. You will be responsible for approving method statements for tasks like conduit laying and switchboard fixing, conducting regular site visits to track construction progress, and approving vendors for electrical, HVAC, and plumbing supplies. Additionally, you will prepare and update detailed construction programs, review and issue Requests for Information (RFI) and checklists, approve rates and claims for additional work outside the BOQ, and coordinate with MEP contractors to resolve installation issues. Your role will also involve attending meetings with clients and contractors for technical discussions, reviewing shop drawings and material submittals for compliance, and inspecting MEP work on-site according to shop drawings and methods. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field. - Experience of 3-6 years in MEP project management. - Strong knowledge of construction processes and materials. - Good communication and teamwork skills. - Familiarity with project management software. The job location is in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and the role requires in-person work. A reliable commute or planning to relocate before starting work is required. The preferred education qualification is a Bachelor's degree, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in MEP (Electrical) is also required for this role.,
