Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Design, develop, and supervise the installation of electrical systems and equipment for projects and operations.
Review technical drawings, specifications, and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical systems, control panels, and power distribution networks.
Troubleshoot breakdowns, diagnose faults, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, civil, instrumentation) for smooth project execution.
Conduct load calculations, cable sizing, and prepare electrical BOQ (Bill of Quantity).
Ensure adherence to electrical safety norms and statutory compliance.
Work on energy-saving initiatives and monitor power utilization efficiency.
Evaluate vendor quotations, prepare technical comparisons, and support procurement activities.
Prepare reports, project documentation, and maintain records of maintenance and installations.

Required Skills and Competencies:

Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, maintenance, and safety standards (IEC/IS).
Hands-on experience in electrical load management, PLC panels, and power distribution systems.
Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, or similar software tools.
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Good communication and team coordination abilities.
