Every day, you will engage in dynamic discussions with cross-functional teams and play a key role in driving engineering excellence and system quality. **Key Responsibilities**: - Translate wind turbine system requirements into hardware definitions, collaborating with different teams to identify efficient building options. - Detail and merge parts within the wind turbine structure, ensuring smooth compatibility and peak performance. - Develop comprehensive build packages, including specifications, Bills of Material (BOM), wire routing, and electrical schematics. - Support the build and testing of prototype equipment at suppliers, in labs, and in manufacturing facilities. - Ensure compliance with international standards and support certification processes. - Showcase materials for reviews at each achievement of new product introduction projects, ensuring successful implementation. **Qualifications Required**: - Electrical Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience. - 3-5 years of proven experience in crafting electrical control/power systems, electrical drives, and UPS systems. - Expertise in Electrical subsystem architecture definition, optimization, and standardization. - Familiarity with international codes and standards related to electrical drives and systems. - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a positive and self-motivated approach. - Ability to work in a cross-functional and global environment, with availability to travel 10% of the time. As a Cost & Estimating Engineer-Manager in the Application Engineering department based in Indore, you will be responsible for handling proposals of Electrical drives (VFDs) by coordinating with customers and various inter-departments. Your role will involve being proficient in Estimation, Costing, and Quotation processes, along with a basic understanding of electrical and electronics phenomena. Your Tasks Support of ongoing development tasks of the electrical pitch and yaw systems, from specification over prototyping to serial introduction Create relevant technical documentation, e.g. specifications, manuals and technical notifications etc. Project planning and continuous planning updates during the whole project in MS Project Development and improvement of KPI dashboards and reporting systems Follow up the task management via Jira with the whole team Data administration over the entire lifecycle (PDM/PLM) Your Profile M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or similar background, preferably in the field of automation, electrical drives and/or project management Advanced knowledge in power electronic, electrical drives and/or electrical engineering Experience in Technical Writing as well as Confluence & Jira Advanced user of MS Project, KPI dashboards and reporting tools for project planning Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Your Tasks As member of our international team, you take over several development tasks for our electrical pitch and yaw systems. Each system consists of different numbers of frequency converters and motors as well as an energy storage system in case of the pitch system. In Detail, This Includes Among Others The Following Tasks Development of electrical components (converter, motors) of yaw and pitch systems Review with external suppliers the proposed technical solutions, component dimensioning and optimal configuration Support to the nacelle factory, suppliers, global sourcing, SQA and service.
