Title: Electrical Draftsman Work location: Pune Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Experience: 3-5 years of Proven experience as an Electrical Draftsman, preferably in control panel manufacturing. Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed electrical drawings, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings for control panels. Collaborate with engineers to interpret design specifications and translate them into functional electrical diagrams. Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers and clients. Release of Electrical drawings including interconnection diagrams with ferruling for manufacturing of Electrical / Electronic Control System. Ensure all designs comply with relevant electrical codes and safety standards. Maintain and update project documentation, including bill of materials (BOM) and specifications. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving design issues during the manufacturing process. Support the preparation of project proposals and cost estimates as needed. Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices A comprehensive understanding and practical experience in the implementation of relay logic and the selection of PLC hardware modules will be considered a valuable additional qualification. Skillset: Proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting software (e.g., SolidWorks). Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and wiring practices. Hands-on experience in drawings of Electrical / Electronic Control System and Panels is Mandatory Knowledge of industry standards and electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEC). Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects.
