Electrical Draftsman – EPC Projects

Job Title : Electrical Draftsman – EPC Projects

2–3 years of experience in electrical drafting, preferably in EHV/HV substations or industrial projects.

Qualifications : Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field,

Technical Skills :

· Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D drafting.

· Knowledge of industry codes and standards related to electrical systems.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting & Design:
• Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare equipment layout plans, earthing layouts, cable trench/routing layouts, lighting, and conduit routing layouts.
• Create single-line diagrams (SLDs) for auxiliary AC & DC systems in EHV substations.
• Should be conversant of basic civil drwaings.
• Collaboration & Coordination:
• Work closely with engineers to interpret project requirements and convert them into technical plans.
• Coordinate with team members to gather necessary inputs and engineering data for drawing deliverables.
• Documentation & Compliance:
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and project specifications.
• Maintain and update drawing databases and document control systems.
• Conduct site visits to gather information and verify design requirements for as-built drawings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
