Electrical Designer - MEP

As an Electrical Design Engineer, your role involves creating engineering drawings, bills of material, and modifying control panel designs. You will be responsible for completing 3-phase electrical power calculations, utilizing CAD software for wiring diagrams, and supporting the existing install base of control systems. Additionally, you will produce engineering documentation such as 2-D schematics, 3-D models, and assemblies, along with Production Assembly Drawings (PADs) and part requirement drawings. Key Responsibilities: - Create engineering drawings, specifically electrical diagrams for equipment connection - Develop bills of material for electrical panels and components - Modify existing control panel designs - Complete 3-phase electrical power calculations - Utilize CAD software for wiring diagram and system layout - Support existing install base of control systems and resolve follow-up installation issues - Produce engineering documentation including 2-D schematics, 3-D models, assemblies, PADs, and part requirement drawings Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and DIALux - Experience in lighting design for at least 5 years Please note that this is a full-time position with benefits including health insurance and provident fund. The work schedule is day shift, Monday to Friday, and the preferred education requirement is a Diploma. The work location is in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and it requires in-person presence.
